There are sixty-four identical "disks". They are flat and green on one side and concave and blank on the other. Players take turns placing "disks" on the board with their assigned side facing up (flat-green or concave-blank). Player can play a "disk" when he/she flanks one or more opponents "disks" between his/hers new "disk" and any other of player's "disks" already in a game, in the same horizontal, vertical or diagonal line. The opponents "disks" that are flanked will be turned upside-down and change side. This turning is called flipping. The object of the game is to have the majority of "disks" turned to display your mark and color when the last playable empty space is filled. Reversi is also know as Othello.
